Accessory (or appurtenant) structure

“Structure which is on the same parcel of property as the principal structure to be insured and the use of which is incidental to the use of the principal structure” (44 CFR § 59.1). Detached garages used for parking of vehicles and limited storage and small sheds used for limited storage are considered accessory structures.
