Coastal High Hazard Area

An area of special flood hazard along the coast that has additional hazards due to wind and wave action. Coastal High Hazard Areas are identified as V1-30, VE, and V zones on FIRMs. These zones are subject to inundation by the base flood, where wave heights or wave runup depths are 3.0 feet or higher.
