Elevation certificate (EC)

A National Flood Insurance Program form (OMB No. 1660-0008) that documents surveyed elevations and other information necessary to determine compliance with a community’s floodplain management requirements, determine insurance premiums, or support requests for Letters of Map Change (LOMCs). It is also used by municipalities to regulate construction in the floodplain.
