Levee system

The levee structure itself, plus all appurtenant facilities, such as pump stations, closure devices, etc., that are needed to contain, control, or divert flood waters in accordance with a designated risk reduction level. For CRS purposes, credit is based on local activities related to the entire levee system, not just to the levee structure.
