Repetitive Loss property
FEMA designates as Repetitive Loss (RL), any NFIP-insured single family or multi-family residential building for which two or more claims of more than $1,000 were paid by the NFIP within any rolling 10-year period, since 1978. A RL property may or may not be currently insured by the NFIP. Currently there are over 122,000 RL properties nationwide.
